Skind example doesn't work in OS X

Another thing.

I tried to run the skin example project. However, I don't see anything but white square. See screenshot - link.

I understand that ecere is not really optimized for OS X (and, as I see the number of the posts in this section, I may be the only OS X user )

It might be the 'alphaBlend' not working through your X visual.
Try commenting out the alphaBlend = true in form1.ec
